Website privacy information

Privacy, in plain view.

What this website does, what it does not collect through its own interface, and what to consider when you visit or email.

The website and your visit

VPNmein.com serves public, static educational pages. This edition does not include account registration, contact forms, newsletter forms, search inputs, payment processing, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts. It does not run an IP lookup, a DNS test, or a VPN connection check on your device.

The connection illustration and domain banners are locally hosted visual assets. They are not live device-status reports or third-party advertising embeds. The site loads its styles, scripts, and images from its own host and uses the fonts available on your device rather than requesting an external font service.

Requests handled by the hosting service

Loading any web page requires a request to the server hosting it. The hosting service may process technical information such as the requesting IP address, requested path, time, browser information, and errors. The presence, scope, and retention of operational logs depend on the actual hosting configuration.

This site does not claim that hosting requests are invisible or that no server logs exist. For questions about the hosting or email arrangements used for the deployed website, contact [email protected]. Do not assume a retention period that is not stated here.

Your animation preference

The page respects a device preference for reduced motion by starting the banners as still images. The pause or play control changes both banners. When browser storage is available, that choice is stored in session storage under the key vpnmein-motion for the current browsing session.

The stored value is either “paused” or “playing.” It is not an identifier and is not sent to a server by the site script. Session storage is used only for this local display preference; no advertising or analytics cookies are set by the site's code. If storage is unavailable, the control still works on the current page.

Choosing to send an email

Selecting an email link opens your configured mail application. Nothing is sent by this website merely because you click the link. If you send a message, the information you include is handled through email systems and can be read for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

Keep messages limited to the information needed for the question. Do not send credentials, private keys, payment details, identity documents, or sensitive browsing records. For a privacy question about an email you have sent, use the same published contact address and describe the request without adding unnecessary personal information.

External references and RSS

Editorial source links take you to independently operated websites with their own data practices. The site does not embed their pages or load their trackers merely to display a citation. Following a link creates a separate visit to that destination.

The RSS feed is a public file that can be requested by your reader. It does not subscribe an email address or create an account. Your reader and the hosting service may handle their own technical request information according to their configurations.

Changes and questions

This statement describes the delivered features of the website. Adding analytics, external embeds, forms, accounts, or other services would change those practices and should be reflected in an updated statement. The current statement date is September 29, 2026.

For clarification or a privacy-related request, write to [email protected]. For general site questions, the contact page explains the available routes without asking you to complete a form.
